Sponsored: Apple and Etisalat Partner to Deliver iPhone 5S to the Nigerian Market For The First Time
Since fastest growing telecommunications operator, Etisalat Nigeria announced its partnership with Apple Inc. to deliver the iPhone 5S from June 16, the news has been generating much excitement among Apple fans and discerning consumers in Nigeria.
In what appears to be a smart move by the company reputed as the most innovative telecoms operator in the country, it shows that the company is poised to deliver innovative technology to its customers.
While Airtel Nigeria has also announced that its customers could pre-order the iPhone from its network, even offering instalment payments for this highly coveted device, this is the first time the iPhone would be made available on any Nigerian network, which goes to show the level of improvements these two companies have made on their networks in order to attain the kind of standard acceptable by Apple Inc.
Telecommunications services consumers have welcomed the Etisalat offer with joy. Ibekwe Okezie, a Lagos-based information technology specialist, might have been speaking the minds of most consumers when he commended Etisalat for being proactive in sealing the deal, as he states that the iPhone is most efficient when powered by the ‘super-fast easyblaze from Etisalat’.
“Apple makes the most advanced and revolutionary devices in the world. It only comes naturally that they would choose to partner Etisalat which is the only network in Nigeria that has the capacity to deliver the flawless data services required to maximise the iPhone”, says Okezie
There’s no doubt that Etisalat has been deliberately and strategically innovative and doesn’t seem to be stopping at exciting Nigerian consumers with telecommunications services and offerings at par with what is tenable in leading economies.
