Advertisements have a motto to improve the sales of the product and increase its brand value. This often leads to either senseless ads, that only talk about the product or irrelevant ads, that only serve as an entertainment factor. Advertisements and campaigns have mostly been focused on profits of the brand, as it is supposed to be. However, once in a while there comes an ad that touches your heart, an initiative that hits a chord, an effort that makes you believe that humanity is still alive in this all too busy world.
One such brand that strikes a chord has been Coca Cola. With a tag line of ‘Open Happiness’ and a motto to spread happiness, their ads have been known for the knack of underlying messages and restoring faith in humanity. Be it the Farhan Akhtar and Deepika Padukone ad on ‘Educating the Girl Child’ or the ad featuring Aamir Khan about random happiness.
